Tapas at The Pound

Delicious Spanish inspired Tapas made freshly in-house, using fantastic local suppliers like our traditional family butcher E Hedgers - based just a stone’s throw from our kitchen door.

Food is served throughout the day in the atmospheric main bar area and our former police station cells, or on our picturesque riverside terrace.

All dining receipts provide complimentary entry to the Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint to enjoy Canterbury's finest view from the battlements (open 12-4pm Sun-Fri).

Restaurant table booking are available Sunday to Friday (Please note: We do not take bookings for drinks only, or for the riverside terrace).

On a Saturday we operate on a walk-in basis.

Roasts at The Pound

Our locally famous Deliciously British Roasts are perfect for gatherings with friends & family. Expect delicious locally sourced ingredients and great portions! Dine in the atmospheric former police station, police cells or upstairs Parade Room (open at busy times).

Roasts are perfectly suited to our fun original police cells which can accommodate up to 8 people.

Please note - we do not accept bookings on Saturdays, or on the Riverside Terrace - these areas operate on a walk-in basis only, there’s plenty of seating for you to enjoy.
